A "curtain" that can be shaped into any form. Similar to Hanna Allijn's Faceted Curtains, these add the power of magnets to create a sturdier and more permanent sculptural shape as you push and pull the fabric. I love this concept. According to the designer, Tokujin Yoshioka, it is "a Natural Crystal Chair". First he makes a substrate made of polyester elastomer, then forms the skeleton, which is then submerged in a tank. From here, the crystals grow on the substrate in a completely random and natural way. Its a great juxtapozition of man's control and natures unending creativity.
